When we use certain products, we need the products to perform in the manner we hope for
For instance, when we buy an umbrella, we would require the umbrella to be able to shelter us from the rain
For simple and lower end products, we would not have high expectations, as in this instance, if the umbrella can shield us from the rain, then it would be good enough
However, when it comes to important products, such as facemasks, we need to be assured that the facemasks will be able to protect us from, currently, the virus
This is where certification, or more specifically, facemask fabric certification comes in … that is, where facemask fabrics must be certified in accordance with recognised standards
